Ride Along Program

We are not accepting Ride Along applications at this time.  

The Dalton Police Department offers members of our community the opportunity to see first-hand what an officer experiences while patrolling the city.  This includes responding to calls for service, working traffic crashes, enforcing traffic laws, and many other aspects of law enforcement.  If you would like to ride along with an officer, an application must be completed.

Completed ride along applications should be submitted to Administrative Assistant Vickie Vess at vvess@daltonga.gov.  Contact the Patrol Division at 706-278-9085 ext. 9120 for questions about the ride along program.
