Water, Light & Sinking Fund Commission

The Water, Light & Sinking Fund Commission oversees the operations of Dalton Utilities which provides a wide range of utility services to the residents and businesses of Dalton. Dalton Utilities provides electricity, natural gas, water, wastewater, internet, and streaming cable television services to the City. 

Members of the Water, Light & Sinking Fund Commission are appointed by the Dalton Mayor and Council. The commission meets on the second Tuesday of every month, at 2:00 pm at Dalton Utilities. 

Public Notice
The Board of Commissioners of the Water, Light and Sinking Fund, the governing body of Dalton Utilities, meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 2:00 pm at Dalton Utilities. The meetings are open to the public. Dalton Utilities is located at 1200 V.D. Parrott Jr. Parkway, Dalton, GA 30721.

The Water, Light & Sinking Fund Commission is made up by John Thomas, Tommy Boggs, Joe W. Yarbrough, Ed Anthony, Kevin Brunson, and Tommy Thompson. The City Council liaison is Steve Farrow.
