The following links are for reports / requests that can be made online.  Please allow 2-3 business days for a response to your request to make a police report or to receive a copy of a police report.

 

File a Report

You can initiate making a report by filling in the form below.  Your information will be forwarded to an Officer who may need to contact you for more details.  It is very important that you provide complete and accurate information, as well as correct contact information.  Someone will advise you of the case number and when you may obtain a copy of the report.  We will process your report as quickly as possible, but this process can take a few days to complete.

Report Suspicious / Criminal Activity

We value your input in our efforts to reduce or prevent criminal activity in our community.

Please be serious and as detailed as possible (include names, person or vehicle descriptions, locations, time, etc...) with your message. It will be forwarded to the appropriate division/section for processing.

Request for Extra Patrol

The Dalton Police Department wants you to have peace of mind while you are on vacation without worrying about your home or business.  If you’d like to have officers check on your home or business while you’re away, simply call the Patrol Division at 706-278-9085 ext. 9120 or fill out the information below to request an extra patrol.  You can also request an extra patrol for other reasons besides leaving town.
