Special Olympics of Georgia

DPD supports SOGA

The Dalton Police Department is proud to be able to support the Special Olympics of Georgia through fundraising and volunteering at events.  Department members seek sponsorships for their participation in the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Polar Plunge, which provides funding for Special Olympics athletes to participate in the state games.  DPD members also volunteer at local Special Olympics events, including basketball, bowling, and track and field.
