Police Department Investigating Missing Person Report

Original post - The Dalton Police Department is investigating a report of a missing person. 38-year old Lawrence Jean Miller, who is reportedly homeless, was reported missing by a family member who said they have not heard from him since September 2023. 

Though Lawrence Miller is homeless, his family told police that he typically checks in with them either monthly or every other month. They also told police that Miller does not have a phone and likes to hitch hike, but he always informs them if he is leaving town. At his last check-in he did not indicate that he was going anywhere. 

Lawrence Miller stands 5'5" tall and weighs approximately 142 pounds. He is bald and sometimes wears a graying beard. It is unknown if he currently has facial hair.
