Dalton Parks and Recreation is a dedicated team of professionals committed to enriching the quality of life of the citizens we serve by providing safe accessible recreational opportunities and facilities for thousands of families throughout the City of Dalton/Whitfield County. Our agency is governed by a 5 member Recreation Commission appointed by the Mayor of Dalton.

Youth Athletic Mission Statement

To provide quality “recreational” athletic programs for the youth of Dalton and Whitfield County where participation, instruction, sportsmanship and teamwork are achieved in a safe and enjoyable environment.
