Civic Drive Playground Closing Jan. 20th For Construction

The John Davis Recreation Center

The ongoing renovation project at the John Davis Recreation Center is forcing a temporary closure of the playground at the nearby James Brown Park on Civic Drive. The playground will be closed on Tuesday, January 20th and remain closed until further notice. Planners look forward to re-opening the playground when construction is complete. 

There are still many other playgrounds available for use in Dalton's parks until Civic Drive re-opens! They include:

  • Mack Gaston Community Center (218 N. Fredrick Street)

  • Dalton Green Park (117 N. Selvidge Street)
