Rec Center Pool Now Open

The pool is now open for the summer!

The pool at the John Davis Recreation Center is (finally) opening back up on Monday! The pool has been closed for the past couple of summer swim seasons due to ongoing construction on the John Davis Center renovation project.

The pool will be re-opening Monday (June 2nd) with a kickoff swim from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. However, that is the ONLY Monday that it will be open this summer. The pool's normal operating schedule will be:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Admission to the pool is $3 per person, including non-swimmers, and proper swim attire will be required at all times, including swim diapers with a swim suit worn over them for the little ones. Please note that this summer, the "kiddie pool" will not be open due to ongoing construction.
While the pool facility is now open, the rest of the John Davis Center is still under construction. Because the rest of the complex is a construction zone, there will be a different way to enter and exit the facility this summer. Parking will be at the Ron Nix Soccer Complex end of the campus, and guests will be able to walk through the soccer complex to the pool area. Swim lessons will also be starting Monday morning, and participants will enter the facility the same way.
