Reception Honoring New Councilmember Tonight

Julie Locke will be sworn in as the new Ward 2 representative to the City Council during tonight's Mayor and Council meeting. A reception will be held in the City Hall lobby after the meeting in her honor. 

The Mayor and Council meeting will be held tonight (Monday, March 16th) at 6:00 pm in the Raymond A. Elrod Council Chambers at City Hall. 

Locke won a special municipal election last week to succeed Nicky Lama as the Ward 2 Councilmember. Lama stepped down in January in order to run for Congress. Locke will serve the unexpired portion of his term which will expire on December 31st, 2029.
