Memorial Day Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedule

Monday, May 19th, 2025

City of Dalton offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. 

There will be no garbage or recycling collections on May 26th. To ensure that all City residents receive service next week, the routes will be completed as follows: 

  • Residents who typically receive garbage or recycling collections on Monday will instead be service on Tuesday, May 27th. 
  • All other collections for the week will take place as usual
