Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Garbage/Recycling Collection Schedule

The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, January 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There will be no garbage or recycling collections made that day. 

Instead, to ensure City residents receive their normal service, the schedule is being adjusted: 

  • Monday's garbage and recycling collections will instead be picked up on Tuesday, January 20th.
  • All other collections will take place as normally scheduled.
