Walston Avenue Closing To Through Traffic Monday

Walston Avenue will be closed to all but local and emergency traffic beginning Monday, September 22nd to make way for road repairs. The road is being closed between Mack Street and Ross Drive on Monday to allow crews to repair deteriorated section of the road bed before milling and resurfacing. The work is expected to be completed within the week.

While the road is closed to through traffic, residents who live between Mack Street and Ross Drive will be allowed to enter as will emergency vehicles. Detours will be posted, but drivers should plan alternate routes to avoid the area.
