Public Notice - Garbage and Recycling Schedule For Christmas

The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th and Wednesday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday.

There will be no garbage and recycling collection on those days. Instead, to ensure all City Residents receive garbage and recycling service for the week, routes will be completed as follows:

  • Tuesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, December 26th, 2024. 
  • Wednesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Friday, December 27th, 2024.
  • All other days will be picked up on their regularly scheduled day.
