Labor Day Holiday Schedule For Garbage/Recycling Collection

The City of Dalton Public Works Department will be closed Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day.

To ensure all City Residents receive a garbage and recycling pick up for the week, routes will be completed as follows:

  • Monday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. 
  • All other days (Tuesday September 5th – Friday September 8th) will be picked up on their regularly scheduled day.
