Garbage/Recycling Pickup Schedule Announced For Thanksgiving Week

City of Dalton offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Public Works Department will not be performing garbage and recycling pickups on those days. To make sure all City residents receive their garbage and recycling collections for the week, the routes will be re-scheduled as follows:

City of Dalton Public Works Department will be closed on Thursday November 25, 2021 and Friday November 26, 2021.

• Thursday's garbage and recycling pickups will be performed on Tuesday, November 23rd
• Friday's garbage and recycling pickups will be performed on Wednesday, November 24th

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday's garbage and recycling will be picked up on schedule as usual.
