Single Axle Truck Driver - Public Works

The City of Dalton Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for a Single Axle Truck Driver.  This is a full-time position in the Sanitation/Solid Waste Collection Division with a starting pay rate to be determined based on experience. This position involves driving a single axle dump truck, hauling brush, refuse, or other materials to the City’s landfill, or other designated area; filling in as a substitute recycle truck driver; ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on assigned vehicle; and other duties as assigned.  Applicants must have a valid, Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License issued by the State of Georgia.
