Parks & Facilities Superintendent - Recreation Departmen
The City of Dalton, Georgia Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Parks and Facilities Superintendent. This position is responsible for assisting the Parks and Recreation Director in the management and administration of parks, facilities, and maintenance operations.
Ideal applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field; Master’s degree in related field desirable but not required; extensive management and administrative experience in Parks and Recreation, local government or related field including considerable supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience.
Professional Certifications are desirable but not required- Certifications are Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP), Certified Parks & Recreation Executive (CPRE), Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA), Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO), or Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
