The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the position of Court Administrator for the Dalton Municipal Court.  This is a full-time position with full benefits. 

Job Summary:  Serves as Department Head and provide administrative as well as supervisory services to the Municipal Court in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Court. 

Responsibilities include case management, budget management, program management and general administrative support.

Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Court Administration, or closely related field, and (3) years’ experience in related work; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.  Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a general Certificate of Court Administration within one year of date of hire and the Master Certificate of Court Administration within two years of date of hire. Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain valid GCIC/NCIC Terminal Operator Certifications within one year of date of hire.  Possession of a Georgia Commission as a Notary Public or obtain within 2 months of hire date.  Possession of a valid State of Georgia driver’s license.

This position has a pay range minimum of $30.41, midpoint of $37.14 and maximum of $47.59.
