Monoclonal Antibody Treatment Clinic Services Suspended Indefinitely (con información en español)
(Updated 1/4/22) - Unfortunately due to extremely limited supplies of the medication, the drive-through monoclonal antibody clinic at the Dalton Convention Center will suspend services effective immediately. There are no further scheduled sessions at this time.
**PLEASE NOTE** If you do not see a sign up link at the bottom of the page or if there are no available time slots showing up next to the calendar on the registration page when you click the link or if you get a message saying the form is unavailable, it is because all appointments have been filled. The site is working properly and there is no need to contact us. When appointments are available, the link will be available at the bottom of the page. Please check back for updates on new treatment dates as they become available due to cancellations. Please do not call the Dalton Convention Center, the staff there is not involved in this clinic and will not have information for you.
Regeneron's monoclonal antibody therapy for COVID-19, REGEN-COV (casirivimab and imdevimab), is indicated for treatment of patients within approximately the first 7 days of developing illness or testing positive for COVID-19. This treatment is most effective the earlier you take it during your illness. Our goal is to treat people as close to diagnosis or the onset of symptoms as possible, within approximately the first 7 days. More info about the treatment is here.
The City of Dalton will be giving REGEN-COV treatments in the upper right hand gravel parking lot of the Dalton Convention Center at 2211 Tony Ingle Parkway by appointment only. The link and phone number for appointment sign-ups can be found below.
PLEASE NOTE:
- No doctor referral is required for adults. Minors must have a doctor's order.
- A positive COVID-19 test is required. This clinic is only for people who have COVID-19.
- No patients will be allowed inside the Convention Center building (portable restroom facilties are outside at the treatment site)
- All people inside the vehicle are required to wear masks at all times while on site
- Patients should plan to be on site for approximately 90 minutes (patients are required to remain for approximately an hour after injection for observation). Patients will be required to remain in the vehicles after treatment so make sure you have enough fuel to idle and run air conditioning for that time period
- Patients must be at least 18 years of age for treatment at this site
- Your confirmation email for your appointment may not arrive in your inbox for up to two hours. Please DO NOT sign up multiple times if you do not immediately get an email confirmation. Also, make sure to check your spam filter as some patients' confirmation emails have been mislabeled as spam.
