Groundbreaking Ceremony Tuesday For Airport Hangars

There will be a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 13th, at 3:00 pm at the Dalton Municipal Airport to kick off construction of three new airplane hangars. The hangars are being funded by a Georgia Department of Transportation grant as well as local matching funds.
The three new hangars will be located at different sites on the airport campus. There will be a 10-bay hangar, a 60 x 60 foot hangar, and a 120 x 80 foot hangar.
The Dalton Municipal Airport is located at 4483 Airport Road.
